The management at a multinational corporation decided to outsource accounting processes to an external shares service center. To this end, an international project team was appointed to support the transformation with regard to both processes and the employees involved and to shore up communications with the various stakeholders.
In selecting the interim manager for German-speaking countries, stringent demands were placed on personal experience in a project on a comparable scale. In addition, the interim manager was supposed to have extensive conceptual and operational experience in all areas of accounting and furthermore possess communication skills and be able to communicate confidently and reliably with various national and international stakeholders.
