In the post-merger integration phase, a global technology company decided to place recruitment in Germany, Switzerland, Austria and Spain on a secure footing over an extended period of time. One element of this project was for the company to hire an experienced part-time interim recruitment manager. The expert was not only to be responsible for operational recruitment and the strategic selection of personnel service providers, but also manage overall sourcing for interim and consulting assignments in global IT.
When selecting a candidate, it was important to those in charge for the interim recruitment manager to have a proactive approach as well as extensive experience gained in comparable recruitment projects. In addition, excellent communication skills were required in order to liaise effectively with direct interfaces and stakeholders.

In order to safeguard day-to-day business during the planned maternity leave of a well-liked HR officer, the company decided to hire an interim HR officer. In addition to the prompt transfer of know-how and continued performance of the day-to-day business without any disruption, an additional project in the scope was also part of the task.
When selecting the interim manager, it was important to the HR manager for the candidate to have a proactive style of working, to have experience working in a similar position and strong communication skills in German and English in order to be able to interact effectively with the interfaces.

A medium-sized automotive supplier from the Sauerland region was looking for an interim CIO to serve for a period of nine months. The focus was not only on managing current IT requirements, but also on strategic development and enabling a smooth transition for the next CIO.
The previous CIO left the company at short notice due to personal circumstances. In order to ensure the day-to-day management of the business, the company management decided to develop an internal candidate to be able to take over as successor. It was important to the company for the interim manager not only to manage the 15 staff members working in the IT department, but also play an active role training the future CIO.

A multinational enterprise – an automotive supplier – divested a division to a private equity firm. The task was to speedily implement centralised functions, especially in Treasury.
The following requirements applied to the selection of the interim manager (m/f/d): Solid carve-out expertise and private equity experience, expert knowledge in liquidity planning and government reporting, internationality, expertise in the establishment of new functions (cash pool & factoring) and extensive SAP skills.
hahn+friends were able to quickly provide assistance with an interim manager. He contacted the private equity house, the old group and the banks involved in order to determine requirements and make sure they were met. The expert directly contributed concepts and strategies to quickly implement liquidity planning, a factoring programme and cash pooling, thereby reducing the time needed for implementation.

Temporary employment of experts
When temporarily assuming a line function and thus integrating the interim manager, some clients have to contend with the risk of bogus self-employment in accordance with Section 611 a of the German Civil Code (BGB). If a client has these concerns, we can ensure a legally secure solution through our expert transfer including full integration into the company organization. In this case, our clients receive the familiar flexibility and legal certainty at the same time.
